South Korea's electronic giant has revealed a budget smartphone which according to the guesstimates will be available @ $95 / Euros 70 / Rs. 5000/- approx & will  compete directly with Nokia Asha 501.

Samsung's most popular Galaxy series has got another budget smartphone code named Galaxy Star, model no:GT- S5280 (Single Sim) & GT-S5282 (Dual Sim). This smartphone is compact in design which will slip easily in your palm, packs some good specifications & at an entry level price. Samsung Galaxy Star sports a 3 Inch TFT Capacitive Touch Screen with multi touch. The display resolution of the smartphone are 240 x 320 Pixels, ~133 ppi pixels density, 65 K Colours. Galaxy Star dimensionally measures 105 x 58 x 11.9 mm (4.13 x 2.28 x 0.47 in), it weighs 100.5 gms (3.53 oz) & comes in three colour variants Black, White & Blue. The compact size smartphone looks very elegant. Now lets foray Samsung Galaxy Star Technically, it holds under the hood a 1 GHz Cortex A5 CPU & 512 MB of RAM.
