Finnish smartphone Giant in on a spree of announcing Feature phones it seems. First it was Nokia 106 & Nokia 107, and now it is Nokia 515. This feature phone from Nokia has packed in some good features due to which many smartphone users will prefer Nokia 515 as an additional phone in which they can plug in their existing number and move. Nokia 515 comes with an optional Dual SIM model. This is a 3G feature phone and it supports miroSIM so you can always plug in your existing SIM card of your smartphone. Nokia 515 sports 2.4 Inch TFT QVGA display which packs in a resolution of 240 x 320 Pixels, ~167 ppi pixels density, 256K Colours. Dimensionally this feature phone measures 114 x 48 x 11 mm (4.49 x 1.89 x 0.43 in), while it weighs mere 101.1 gms (3.56 oz) & there are two basic flavour to select from viz; White & Black. Nokia has added additional muscles to the front panel by providing a protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 2. Nokia 515 scores well on the display front & from inside it holds a 64 MB of RAM, 256 MB of internal memory & there is a further support upto 32 GB microSD card. The Phone book has a capacity of 1000 entries and this feature phone is capable of call recording. On the data connectivity front Nokia 515 packs in Bluetooth v3.0 (with A2DP in Single SIM model only), microUSB v2.0. On the rear panel of this feature phone is a 5 MP Primary camera with LED flash light, face detection, panorama. This primary snapper is capable of clicking images of resolution of 2592 x 1944 Pixels & record QVGA display of 240 x 320 Pixels @ 30 fps. There is no Secondary camera in this phone. The Li-ion power bank in Nokia 515 has a juice of 1200 mAh (BL-4U).

Finnish smartphone giant has announced three most affordable 3G feature phones which will hit the market by Q3 of 2013. These feature phones are expected to command the price of $68 / Euros 52 / Rupees 4000/- approximately. All the three models run on platform Series 40, packs 64 MB RAM & Nokia has specifically provided micro SIM slot giving an indication that this phone can be used incase you don't want to carry your high end smartphone.  Of the lot Nokia 207 is the most basic feature phone which is a single sim device without camera & Nokia 208 / Nokia 208 (Dual Sim) packs a Primary camera of 1.3 MP with resolution of 1280 x 960 Pixels & this snapper can record QVGA videos @ 15 fps (No secondary camera). Keep the Nokia's vibrant colours legacy alive these feature phones also offer 5 colour options viz; cyan, red, yellow, black, white. The feature phones sports a 2.4 Inch TFT Display with resolution of 240 x 320 Pixels, ~167 ppi pixels density, 256 K Colours. Dimensionally these feature phones measures 114.2 x 50.9 x 12.8 mm (4.50 x 2.00 x 0.50 in). The features phones also differ marginally on weight Nokia 207 weighs 91.3 gms (3.21 oz) & Nokia 208 / Nokia 208 (Dual Sim) weighs 89.6 gms (3.14 oz). The internal memory of the feature phone is 256 MB & there is a support upto 32 GB microSD card. On the phone book memory front there is a limitation of 1000 entries only. Finnish smartphone manufacturer Nokia has added another smartphone to its Asha series code name Asha 501. The Smartphone with moderate specifications is available in 3 models viz; RM-899, RM-900 are Single sim models while RM-902 is a Dual sim model. In the Dual sim model it has one slot which is capable of Hot Swap. Nokia Asha 501 is expected to release in June 2013 at an approx price of $100 / Rs. 5500/- (No official price declared yet). Nokia is bullish on it Lumia series that features Microsoft Windows Phone 8 OS but its Nokia Asha Software Platform is also a great hit in the entry level segment. Nokia Asha 501 sports a 3 Inch TFT Capacitive Touch Screen with multi touch upto 2 finger & Swipe UI. The display resolution is of 240 x 320 Pixels, ~133 ppi pixels density, 256K Colours. The smartphone is available in 6 colours Bright Red, Bright Green, Cyan, Yellow, White & Black. The dimensions of Nokia Asha 501 are 99.2 x 58 x 12.1 mm (3.91 x 2.28 x 0.48 in) due to the compact size Nokia Asha 501 easily slips in your palm & it weighs only 98.2 gms (3.46 oz). Nokia Asha 501 looks really smart, is compact in size, has vibrant colours options & at a real budgeted price, all summed up makes it value for money. Technically it comes out of the box with Nokia Asha Software Platform 1.0, It sports a 1GHz processor with 64 MB RAM. Nokia Asha 501 has an internal memory of 128 MB & supports upto 32 GB microSD (a 4 GB microSD card is included in the box).
