Dell Venue 8 is yet another tablet from the American computer giant & it is here to compete with the likes of Google Nexus, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab. This tablet from will be available is two variants viz; Wifi Only and 3G ready. The entry level version will be available @ $ 179.99 / approx Pounds 112 / approx Rs. 11000/- & is expected to be available in the market from October 2013. Dell Venue 8 sports a 8 Inch IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with multi touch. The front panel of this tablet packs in a WXGA display with a resolution of 800 x 1200 Pixels, ~189 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Dimensionally Dell Venue 8 measures 212 x 130 x 9.8 mm (8.35 x 5.12 x 0.39 in), it weighs 292 gms (10.30 oz) & Dell Venue 8 comes in two flavour viz; Black & Red. The multimedia aspect of this tablet features 3.5 mm Audio Jack & Loud Speaker. On the exterior Dell Venue 8 looks brilliant & it has also worked wonders on the performance end. Under the skin of this elegant looking tablet is packed a Dual Core 2 GHz Processor, Intel Atom Z2580 Chipset, 2 GB RAM. On the technical front it is a no regret configuration. The internal memory of Dell Venue 8 has got two variants viz; 16 GB / 32 GB, so you can buy as per your requirement and budget. Further Dell has provided a microSD card slot that supports upto 32 GB microSD card. This tablet will come out of the box with Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The data connectivity aspect of this tablet features Wifi, Wifi HotSpot, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0. For positioning Dell Venue 8 holds within GPS with support for A GPS. On the rear panel of this tablet is a 5 MP Primary camera with Geo Tagging. The lack of LED flash light will disappoint many prospects as it becomes a must in a low light areas. This Primary camera is capable of clicking images of 2592 x 1944 Pixels & video recording. On the front panel is a 2 MP Secondary camera for video chatting. Dell Venue 8 comes with a Non Removable Li-ion Battery with a juice of 4100 mAh.
