AMAZON KINDLE FIRE HDX 7 INCH QUADCORE 1.3 MP CAMERA FULL TABLET SPECIFICATIONS
Amazon has announced two tablets in its flagship Kindle series viz; Kindle Fire HDX & Kindle Fire HDX 8.9, of which the later is a superior version in some aspects of specifications. The Amazon Kindle Fire HDX will be available in three variants viz; Wifi Only, 4G / LTE ready with voice calling (GSM) & 4G / LTE ready with voice calling (CDMA). This tablet sports a 7 Inch IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with multi touch upto 10 fingers & Fire OS 3.0 Mojito UI. The WUXGA display looks brilliant with the resolution of 1200 x 1920 Pixels, ~323 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Dimensionally this tablet measures 186 x 128 x 9 mm (7.32 x 5.04 x 0.35 in), while it weighs 303 gms (10.69 oz) Wifi Model, 311 gms (10.97 oz) 4G / LTE Models, Amazon Kindle Fire HDX will be available in just one flavour viz; Black. The multimedia aspect of this tablet features 3.5 mm Audio jack, Stereo loud speakers & Dolby Digital Plus Sound Enhancement. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX is loaded generously on the exterior and within it has packed some great specifications. This tablet holds under the hood a Quadcore 2.2 GHz Krait 400 Processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Chipset, Adreno 330 GPU, 2 GB RAM. Technically Amazon Kindle Fire HDX is capable of multi tasking and running latest games. The internal memory stored in this tablet has again got three variants viz; 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB and Amazon has skipped on microSD card slot. Amazon kindle Fire HDX will come out of the box with an Android OS v4.x (Jelly Bean customised). The data connectivity aspect of this tablet features Wifi, Bluetooth, microUSB v2.0. For positioning this tablet has packed in GPS with support for A GPS (4G / LTE models only). Amazon kindle Fire HDX really disappoints on the camera as on the front panel of this tablet is just a 1.3 MP Primary camera which is capable of clicking images of 1280 x 1024 Pixels resolution & record videos of 720 P @ 30 fps, while Amazon has skipped on the secondary camera on the rear panel. Right behind the back panel of this tablet sits a Non Removable of Li-ion battery, no update is yet available about the juice packed in it. Amazon Kindle Fire HDX is expected to hit the shelves by October 2013 at a price starting from $ 229 / approx Pounds 142 / approx Rupees 14300/-.
