SAMSUNG GALAXY ROUND 5.7 INCH QUADCORE 13 MP CAMERA FULL SMARTPHONE SPECIFICATIONS
South Korea's electronics giant has finally revealed its first ever curved display smartphone & the origin market will be the first to use it. Yes you read it correct because it will be exclusively launched for South Korea's market @ $ 1000 / approx Pounds 627 / Rupees 62000/-. This smartphone is code named as Samsung Galaxy Round, but if you take a closer look at it then you will find that it is a Curved Samsung Galaxy Note 3 minus the S Pen. This smartphone is the second smartphone from Samsung to feature 4G / LTE Advance support. This curved display will pack in some really amusing features which are not revealed yet, expect for the roll feature in which when your smartphone is locked you can just roll it over the surface and the display will show you the date, time, missed call & message notifications. Samsung Galaxy Round sports a 5.7 Inch Super Flexible Amoled Capacitive touch screen with multi touch. The Full HD display packs in a 1080 x 1920 Pixels resolution, ~386 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Dimensionally it is marginally slimmer than Samsung Galaxy Note 3, as it measures 151.1 x 79.6 x 7.9 mm (5.95 x 3.13 x 0.31 in), Samsung has even toned down the weight of this smartphone in comparison to Samsung Galaxy Note 3 as it weighs 154 gms (5.43 oz) & this smartphone will be available in just one flavour i.e; Luxury Brown. Under the skin Samsung Galaxy Round holds a Quadcore 2.3 GHz Krait 400 Processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Chipset, Adreno 330 GPU, 3 GB RAM. Hence technically as I said earlier it is Samsung Galaxy Note 3. This smartphone though has just one version in terms of internal memory viz; 32 GB & further Samsung has packed in a microSD card slot that supports upto 64 GB microSD card. Samsung Galaxy Round will come out of the box with Android OS v4.3 (Jelly Bean). The data connectivity aspect of this smartphone features Wifi, Wifi Direct, DLNA, Wifi HotSpot, Bluetooth v4.0 (A2DP, LE, EDR), NFC, Infrared Port, microUSB v3.0 (MHL 2), USB Host. For positioning Samsung Galaxy Round is loaded wtih GPS with support for A GPS. On the rear panel of this smartphone is a 13 MP Primary camera with LED flash light, auto focus, Dual Shot, Simultaneous Video and Image recording, geo tagging ,touch focus, face and smile detection, image stabilization, Panorama, HDR. This Primary camera can click images of 4128 x 3096 Pixels resolution & record videos of 2160 P @ 30 fps, while of 1080 P @ 60 fps. The Secondary camera on the front panel is of 2 MP for video chatting & it can even record videos of 1080 P @ 30 fps. Sitting behind the rear panel is a Li-ion Battery with a juice of 2800 mAh.
