Another installment of the iPad Mini is announced & it is codenamed as iPad Mini 2. This tablet from the America's famous brand is packed with great specification, if you looks close at the specifications it has quite resemblance to Apple iPad Air. As the name suggests iPad Mini 2 is handy in use as it sports a 7.9 Inch LED BackLit IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with multi touch. The QXGA display of this tablet looks very brilliant as it packs in a resolution of 1536 x 2048 Pixels, ~324 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Dimensionally Apple iPad Mini 2 measures 200 x 134.7 x 7.5 mm (7.87 x 5.30 x 0.30 in). Apple iPad Mini 2 will be available in two variants viz; Wifi Only model & Wifi + Cellular model & these two models vary marginally in terms of weigh viz; Wifi Only 331 gms (11.68 oz) & Wifi + Cellular 341 gms (12.03 oz). The Wifi Only model lags GPS & the Wifi + Cellular model has a support for 4G / LTE (nano SIM). There are two colour options to select this tablet from viz; Space Black & Silver.Apple iPad Mini 2 boasts of Oleophobic Coating, so gone the problem of oily display. Under the hood this tablet holds a Dual Core 1.3 GHz Cyclone (ARM v8-based) Processor, Apple A7 Chipset, PowerVR G6430 (quadcore graphics) GPU, 1 GB RAM. Apple iPad Mini 2 will come out of the box with iOS v7.0.3. The internal memory of this tablet has got four variants viz; 16 GB / 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB & there is no slot for microSD card, hence it is recommended to buy the maximum capacity if it fits your budget. The Data connectivity aspect of Apple iPad Mini 2 features Wifi, Bluetooth v4.0 with A2DP & EDR, NFC, microUSB v2.0. The Wifi + Cellular models features GPS with support for A GPS & GLONASS. On the rear panel of this tablet is a 5 MP Primary camera with auto focus, geo tagging, touch focus, face detection, HDR, video stabilisation, face time over Wifi & Cellular. This Primary camera is capable of clicking images of 2592 x 1944 Pixels & record HD videos of 1080 P @ 30 fps. The secondary camera on the front panel is of 1.2 MP with Face detection & face time over Wifi & Cellular. This secondary camera can record HD videos of 720 P @ 30 fps.
