American computer giant has tapped the lucrative tablet market with the announcement of Dell Venue 7 Tablet which will be available in two versions viz; 3G & Wifi only. This tablet from Dell is expected to hit the stores by the end of October 2013 & the starting price will be $ 149.99, approx Pounds 94, approx Rupees 9200/- for the Wifi Only models. The Dell Venue 7 sports a 7 Inch IPS LCD Capacitive touch screen with multi touch. Further Dell has packed in a WXGA display with a resolution of 800 x 1280 Pixels, ~216 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. Dimensionally Dell Venue 7 measures 193 x 118 x 9.6 mm (7.60 x 4.65 x 0.38 in), while it weighs 234 gms (8.25 oz) & there is just one flavour available viz; Black. The multimedia aspect of this tablet features 3.5 mm Audio jack & Loudspeaker. On the display front Dell Venue 7 looks pretty descent & now lets foray the technicalities. Under the hood this tablet holds a Dual Core 1.6 GHz Processor, Intel Atom Z2560 Chipset, 2 GB RAM. Technically Dell has packed in some great power to make it capable for multi tasking & gaming. In terms of internal memory again there is only one variant viz; 16 GB which can be further extended upto 32 GB microSD card. Dell Venue 7 will come out of the box with Android OS v4.2.2 (Jelly Bean). The data connectivity aspect of this tablet features Wifi, Wifi HotSpot, Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0. Dell has further loaded in this tablet a GPS with support for A GPS for positioning. The Primary camera on the rear panel is a real disappointment as it is mere 3.15 MP (minus the LED Flash light) with geo tagging. This Primary camera is capable of clicking images of 2048 x 1536 Pixels resolution & record videos. Dell Venue 7 also features a front VGA camera for video chatting. Sitting behind the rear panel is a Non Removable Li-ion battery with a gigantic juice of 4100 mAh (15.5 Wh).
