iBall Andi 3.5R is a value for money budget smartphone from the indigenous smartphone manufacturer. This compact smartphone can be bought online @ Rs. 4285/- which is approx $ 72 / approx Pounds 48. iBall 3.5R is a 3G dual sim dual standby smartphone with a super responsive & smooth TFT capacitive touch screen which measures 3.5 Inch in size. The smartphone sports a HVGA display with a resolution of 320 x 480 Pixels, ~165 ppi pixels density, 16 M Colours. iBall andi 3.5R weighs mere 105 gms (3.70 oz) & is available in two colour options viz; Black & Yellow. On the front panel this smartphone features 3 capacitive touch button for menu, home & back. On the left side there is a volume button which can also be used to zoom in & zoom out & on the top is the power key, 3.5 mm audio jack, microUSB slot for charging. Technically iBall Andi 3.5R packs a Single Core 1 GHz Cortex A9 Processor with 256 MB RAM. There is an older OS pre installed on this smartphone as it comes out of the box with Android OS v2.3.6 (ginger bread). The internal memory of iBall Andi 3.5R is mere 80 MB of which only 30 MB is user available, to cover up the lag there is a card slot which supports upto 32 GB microSD card on which you will be able to install your apps, games, movies, books from the Google Play & save your images, videos, musics, etc. The data connectivity aspect of this smartphone features Bluetooth v4.0, microUSB v2.0. iBall Andi 3.5R also stocks GPS with support for A-GPS which helps in finding directions on Google Map. The highlight of this budget smartphone is its dual cameras. The rear snapper of iBall Andi 3.5R is of 5 MP which is capable of clicking images of resolution 2592 x 1944 Pixels & also record good quality videos. While there is also a 0.3 MP VGA secondary camera for video chatting, which is a welcome feature at this price level.       battery back up is of 1300 mAh and internal memory is of 80 mb of which 30 mb is user available. yes this smartphone is capable of 3G video calling

      OS updates are released by company. So if iBall will roll out an update for this smartphone then it can be upgraded.

      there are various apps available on play store like 'apps2sd' that will help in moving your installed apps to memory card & hence you can free up your internal memory.

    Bro, everything with this phone is pretty satisfactory, my only doubt is with its RAM neither mentioned anywhere, came to know it has only 256mb from your review, will it have any bad effect on the phone speed. well i'm not a gamer, all i do is surfing net, amateur photography, listening songs and watching movies. and other basic android app stuff. currently i'm on a very tight budget and this fits in for my 5000rs. any better suggestions from you are wide welcomed. thank you in advance.

      Yes you can also click images with the front camera. But, being a vga camera you wont get image quality

      Mr. Raja,
      Iball andi 3.5r is a 3g device while micromax bolt a27 is 2g only. Another evident difference is the camera iball andi 3.5r comes with 5 mp primary camera + vga secondary camera & micromax bolt a27 has a vga primary camera & no secondary camera. Andi 3.5r is also superior in terms of data connectivity & support for expandable memory.
