Micromax Canvas A120 HD PRO FULL SMARTPHONE SPECIFICATIONS

MICROMAX A120 CANVAS Pro HD

Micromax will soon launch the A120 Canvas HD Pro. The Phablet will have a 5.5-inch full HD display and will run on Android 4.2.1 Jelly Bean out of the box.

The latest buzz on the internet suggests that Micromax is on the verge to launch the successor to the most hyped A116 Canvas HD. The A120 Canvas HD Pro, the device is according to reports is expected to launch around June 30 and be priced approx @ Rs. 20,000/-. The Micromax A120 Canvas HD Pro  can be seen on Sulekha.com without any price mentioned.
The Micromax A120 Canvas HD Pro on the display front will have a 5.5-inch Full HD 1920x1080 pixel display (now thats what I call a good resolution), and further it is loaded with a 2 GHz quad core Cortex A7 processor. The smartphone will also have the PowerVR Series 5XT GPU and 2GB of RAM. Looking at the GPU pairing and Cortex A7 spec, we presume Micromax will once again be using the MediaTek MT6589 chipset (multitaskers will not regret). To satisfy your photographic needs it has taken a big leap with the primary camera of 13MP (4128 x 3096 P) with dual led flash light, digital zoom and the front camera (aka secondary camera) will have a 3.2MP camera (2048 x 1536 P) for video calling (now video calling will be more clearer). It will sport 8GB built-in storage (could have given 16 GB looking @ the price it will command) expandable up to 64GB via a microSD card. It has Dual sim (GSM+GSM) dual standby. A 3,000mAh battery powers the device (now that is Gigantic).

Looking at the display size it seems that Micromax is this time ready to take on the Samsung Galaxy Note II which is selling at almost double the price. Will it be able to compete or not will be known only after its official launch, till now looking at the specs it seems to be a value for money Phablet. The only concern various Micromax prospects have is of its after sales service, but till the best I know I have not heard any Micromax Canvas series owners complaining about their phone (Micromax should try to promote its after sales services in its various advertisements). One more area on which  Micromax needs to improve is to start giving its users OVER THE AIR (OTA) updates, it is the only thing which is coming in the way of Micromax becoming a leader in INDIA.
